My long term readers know all about my relationship with the Shaw neighborhood in Washington, DC - I LOVE it! So when I learned about this upcoming event at the Watha T. Daniel Library in the Shaw neighborhood, I became very excited.
The non-profit organization Polished for Prom is hosting a mentoring event for young ladies aged 12-17 called Professionally Polished. Girls will receive guidance from guest mentors, food and drink, and giveaways!
